Itinerary for B&B angling package:
Day 1: Arrival at airport,
Collection by ASI-Guide in 7-seater 4-wheel drive, who will bring you to the
B&B. Personal introduction with Guide and landlady of B&B. Discussion of
angling schedule.
Day 2: After your Breakfast you will be collected by
your guide at the B&B at 8.30am, Transport to fishing location, outfitting
with the essential tackle and equipment, Introduction to safety procedures and
angling techniques, boat angling for pike and/or brown trout on one of the
bigger loughs. Lunch at the campfire on one of the islands on the lough from
1.00pm - 2.00pm, fishing till 5.00pm, back to the B&B.
Day 3:
Collection by Guide at 8.30, transport, introduction, fishing for pike or trout
on a river, bank side lunch between 1.00 and 2.00pm., fishing till 5.00pm,
back to B&B
Day 4: Collection by Guide at 8.30, transport,
introduction, fly/spin-fishing for pike/trout in float-tubes on a smaller lake,
bank side lunch from 1.00 to 2.00pm., fishing till 5.00pm, transport
back.
Day 5: Day off for shopping, sightseeing and other
activities.
Day 6: Collection by Guide at 8.30, transport, introduction,
boat angling for pike or trout on a Lough, Lunch at the campfire between 1.00
and 2.00pm, fishing till 5.00pm, transport back.
Day 7: Collection
by Guide at 8.00, transport to port at the Atlantic coast, Introduction to
Charterskipper, Sea angling for mixed species. Lunch on board, fishing till
5.00pm, transport back to B&B where the Landlady will prepare the caught
fish for dinner.
Day 8: Collection by Guide, transport back to
airport.
Note: The above itinerary represents a variety of different
angling methods for different species as we find might be interesting to you and
gauging from experience are successful.
Angling schedule can be altered to
your own personal angling preferences.
Also, our guides don’t mind being
flexible with regard to the named times, if conditions or fishing
dictates.
The package is available all year round, but please note, that the
fishing for brown trout and sea angling is is restricted to the period
March-September.
